The path taken by Dekatron II with “II” (Geometrik – Verlag System, 2014) is consolidated with this split tape on a sonic journey entitled “… y ellas cantan al cosmos” on the A side of the cassette. In this composition, the duo continues to investigate the possibilities of analog electronics.
Dekatron III has the experience of Michel Des Airlines, alias of Miguel Ángel Ruiz responsible of the legendary recordings of Orfeón Gagarin for almost three decades, and Sentionaut youth, 50% of We Are The Hunters. Starting off the origins of the computer systems they delve into the sounds of the new electronic age.
Atmósfera – Radio 3 says about them:
“The first album of this project was Dekatron II, released in 2014. (…) was a success, with excellent reviews that catapulted the duo to the new sensation of cosmic electronic music.”
On the flip side the listener will find Courbes Bézier or what is the same the lonely debut of Lluís Gosnegre of MKM, with wich debuted in 2014. This time leaves aside his heldonian side to camouflage a kind of iberian Gunter Schickert mixing with the best epic passages of filmic Vangelis melodies, hipnotic sequencers of You or Harald Grosskopf. Courbes Bezier leaves us 14 minutes in “Europa” of full power. It’s his personal view of the old continent.
